CO₂ Laser Resurfacing Myrtle Beach
The MediCO fractional CO₂ laser replaces damaged tissue with skin that behaves like new — acne scarring, surgical scars, texture, pores and sun damage. You choose the intensity; the downtime follows from it. From $300.
The Technology
Controlled injury. Deliberate repair.
Scar tissue does not improve on its own. It is the body’s fast, structurally inferior patch — laid down in a hurry, and left there permanently. The only way to change it is to give the skin a reason to rebuild.
That is what fractional CO₂ does. The laser drives thousands of microscopic channels into the skin, leaving healthy tissue standing between each one. The injury is real but deliberate: it triggers deep collagen remodelling and cellular renewal, while the untouched tissue in between drives a far faster recovery than a fully ablative resurfacing ever allowed.
We use the MediCO CO₂ laser by MediCreations — a surgical-grade platform that treats surface texture and deeper scar architecture in the same pass, at an intensity your provider dials to your skin type, your goal and the recovery you can realistically plan around.
- Acne scars — ice pick, boxcar and rolling
- Surgical scars — C-section, tummy tuck, injury and burn
- Uneven skin texture and enlarged pores
- Fine lines, wrinkles and crepey skin around the eyes
- Sun damage and pigmentation
- Stubborn warts, medically, down to the viral root
- Light — minimal redness, 2–4 days. Softens mild scarring and texture. The sensible first CO₂
- Moderate — redness and peeling, 5–7 days. Reaches deeper scars. The best balance of result to recovery, and the one most clients choose
- Aggressive — significant resurfacing, 7–10+ days. Deep correction and tightening in a single pass, typically replacing several lighter sessions
- Improvement starts after one treatment, but collagen keeps building for weeks afterwards — the result at three months is not the result at three days
- Deep scarring is usually a series. One aggressive session or several lighter ones; your provider will tell you honestly which suits your skin and your calendar
- Eye rejuvenation is spaced 6–8 weeks apart and typically needs more than one session
- Plan the downtime before you book. This is the one treatment where the recovery has to fit your life, not the other way round
- Consultation is required before any CO₂ treatment — no exceptions
- Strict SPF use and aftercare compliance are conditions of treatment, not suggestions
- Stay off the sun and the sunbed before and after — recently tanned skin changes how the laser behaves
- Tell us about photosensitising medication, healing disorders, keloid history and any recent isotretinoin use
Please note: prices below are per session and start-from. Your provider confirms intensity, session count and total cost at consultation — before anything is booked. CO₂ wart removal is a self-pay medical service; insurance is not accepted.
Treatments & Pricing
Priced by area. Scaled by intensity.
Each price covers one session on the area shown. The downtime beside each tier is what you should plan for — it is the honest cost of the result, and it is the number worth choosing around.
Not sure CO₂ is the right depth for your skin? Start with a laser treatment consultation — a licensed provider maps your skin type, goals and the right protocol before you commit to any downtime. If the answer is something gentler, microneedling reaches collagen with far less recovery, and can be the smarter first step for mild texture. Financing is available through Affirm, Cherry and CareCredit, subject to eligibility — ask at checkout.
