The Treatment

Neurotoxin — Botox, Daxxify and Xeomin — relaxes the specific muscles that fold your skin every time you frown, squint or raise your brows. It treats lines caused by movement: forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet. It is priced per unit, because the right dose depends on your muscle strength, not on a package.
Dermal filler replaces lost volume. As facial fat pads and bone recede, cheeks flatten, the jawline softens and folds deepen. Filler rebuilds that structure. It treats lines caused by loss, and it is priced by product and area.
Most people who look overdone got there by using one when they needed the other. That is what the consultation is for.
Good for: forehead and frown lines, crow’s feet, thin or asymmetric lips, flat cheeks, a soft jawline, hollow temples, deep smile lines and marionette lines.
Downtime: minimal. Small bumps, swelling or bruising at injection sites are normal and typically settle within a few days. Neurotoxin results appear gradually; filler results are immediate.
Longevity: Xeomin lasts up to three months, and Daxxify up to six. Fillers last anywhere from six months to fifteen depending on the product and area.
Reversible: every hyaluronic acid filler on this page can be dissolved with Hylenex if you change your mind or want an adjustment.

Botox®, Xeomin® and Daxxify® are dosed to your anatomy, so tox is billed by the unit rather than by the treatment — Xeomin at $11 per unit, Botox and Daxxify at $14 per unit. Xeomin lasts up to three months; Daxxify up to six. Your injector estimates your unit count at consultation, before anything is drawn up.
Treating forehead lines, frown lines or crow’s feet with Botox® or Xeomin®? Those are quoted at your cosmetic injection consultation rather than booked as a fixed-price service, because the number of units depends on your muscle strength and the areas being treated.
